Scheyden Precision Eyewear was founded by Jeffrey Herold, an avid surfer, pilot and golfer. Jeff realized his existing eyewear was not functional in the cockpit environment and started searching for a quality flip-up sunglass. After scouring the globe and not finding a frame that lived up to Jeff’s quality standards, he realized he would have to take on this project himself. In 1999, the first pair of Scheyden Sunglasses was introduced.
