Scheyden lenses are treated with premium coatings for an optimal viewing experience. Protect your lenses by ONLY cleaning them with nonabrasive materials and never using ammonia or alcohol based cleaning products. For a quick clean, use a mild soap and water, pat dry with a microfiber towel and polish with the Scheyden cleaning cloth.

When eyewear is not in use it is important to store your eyewear in the glass case you received with your eyewear, as per the warranty instructions that came with your eyewear.

Mineral glass lenses offer unmatched optical clarity with the lowest distortion rate, making this a preferred choice for our non-prescription eyewear. All glass is of course breakable, however, this mineral glass that is tested to ANSI standards is amazingly durable. Advantages include superior optical clarity, the low care requirements and exceptional scratch resistance. The only disadvantage is the increase in weight. Scheydens multi-layer Lens Technology coatings and hardening process applied to Mineral Glass lenses dramatically increase lens hardness and up to 6x scratch resistance, while reducing both reflections and bounce-back reflections. Provides100% UVA and UVB protection, blocking harmful rays from the sun. CR39 lenses are lighter in weight than mineral glass and far more durable, making this nearly distortion free optical plastic the preferred choice for prescription lenses. Provides 100% UVA and UVB protection, blocking harmful rays from the sun. Trivex is one of the lightest materials available and provides crisp, clear vision and impact resistance in an ultra-light lens.
